Rollback: Run node ports/codex/install.mjs restore in the same clone. By hand: set theme under [tui] in ~/.codex/config.toml back to your previous theme (or remove the line) and delete ~/.codex/themes/j3w1.tmTheme.
- Download j3w1.tmTheme (source at this revision) — Save as ~/.codex/themes/j3w1.tmTheme and set theme = "j3w1" under [tui] in ~/.codex/config.toml; or run node ports/codex/install.mjs apply in a clone of this repository (see its README). —

Surfaces
- theme-scopes: supported — Codex colours highlighted code from the tmTheme's scope foregrounds and bold, and tints added and removed diff lines with the markup.inserted and markup.deleted backgrounds.
- editor-surfaces: unsupported — Codex paints no code background, current line, selection, gutter or find highlight from a tmTheme, and no modified-line tint; the file still carries those values.
- font-styles: unsupported — Codex renders only bold from a tmTheme: comments are not italic, and links and invalid text are not underlined.
- fixed-ansi: unsupported — Status, diff signs, the brand and the status line use ANSI slots 1-6 that Codex names; the prompt and composer fills are computed from the terminal background.
- terminal-palette: inherited — Codex runs in a terminal and uses its sixteen slots and background; the terminal's own theme sets them.
- outside-codex: out-of-scope — Roles a tmTheme has no key for: primitives, interface colours and every value that is not a colour.
