I work on software that has to survive contact with real organizations: business systems, operational workflows, and the tools engineers use to build and maintain them.

My interests connect software architecture with writing and developer environments. I care about clear contracts, recoverable workflows, evidence that can be checked, and systems that remain understandable after the original implementation context is gone.

Current work includes pod, which turns an Orca coding session into the coordinator of a pod of agents; CE Systems, Casa Elida's modular enterprise platform; CE Governed Delivery, a credential-isolated controller for governed review, merge, and delivery; and CE Metadata, a deterministic control plane for GitHub metadata.

Public work includes theme, the canonical j3w1 design system this site is dressed in; j3w1zsh, a portable, resumable workstation framework for Arch Linux, Arch WSL 2, and Termux; ce-signage, digital signage for Casa Elida's cashier PCs; 1688toCSV, a focused browser extension for order-data export; and the source for this site.

  1. Press / and run exec neofetch — every command is reachable without shortcuts.
  2. In the terminal, type ls, then cd writing, then cat <name>.
  3. Press w to tab windows together, then e to untile them.
  4. Hold Alt and drag a window; drag the gap between tiles to resize.
  5. q closes a window and Shift+R puts everything back.

Nothing can be broken permanently — reloading restores the desktop.
